Client IT Infrastructure Overhaul
This client reached out to us for assistance in modernizing and streamlining their IT infrastructure. At the time, they were working with seven or eight different vendors for various services and had little clarity on what they were actually paying for.
Existing Environment
- SonicWall TZ500 (license expired in 2024)
- Outdated version of SharePoint
- Old file/domain server no longer in use
- No antivirus protection
- No computer or OneDrive backups
- No email backup
- Second location in the process of moving, unsure where to start
- Legacy phone system that was no longer supported
Our Solutions
Once they engaged with us, we provided the following improvements:
- Upgraded and replaced the SonicWall TZ500 with a new TZ370
- Assisted the second location with procuring and installing internet service
- Installed a new firewall at the second location
- Implemented monitoring, antivirus, and backup solutions
- Migrated their data to a new SharePoint site with multi-level access permissions
- Upgraded them to a modern VoIP phone system
- Reduced the number of vendors from eight to three — two for their SAP solution and H Grant Support to manage all IT needs
Future Enhancements
We plan to work with the client to replace their current laptops with newer models to improve productivity and ensure all systems remain up to date.
